Program Services
DSPS provides special support services and academic accommodations to students with verifiable disabilities attending the college. Program services are designed to ensure that students have an equal opportunity to participate and succeed in all college programs and activities. The type of assistance provided to students is determined individually depending on their disability-related educational needs.
Available services include but are not limited to the following:
- Priority registration
- Registration assistance
- Academic advisement
- Test-taking accommodations
- Learning disabilities assessment
- Specialized instructional support
- Assistive technology
- Alternate media materials
- Note-taking assistance
- Sign language interpreters
- Liaison with faculty, staff, and community agencies
