Important Changes for 2012-13 Financial Aid

  

ATTENTION DISQUALIFIED FINANCIAL AID STUDENTS

*EFFECTIVE SPRING SEMESTER 2012*

 

Based on the SCC Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy standards, you are disqualified from receiving financial aid funds if it has been determined that you have a disqualification status for any of the following reasons:

 

    • GPA is below 2.0
    • Have not completed at least 66.5% of the units you attempted
    • Both of the above

 

You MUST receive a letter of notification to appeal in the mail prior to signing up for an Appeal Workshop.

 

 

The Financial Aid staff is available to assist you through the application process in order to determine which financial aid programs you qualify for.  We are committed to the prompt delivery of student aid and we strive to provide quality service to students.
